Received about 100 antique wooden matchbox covers. I would like to display on the wall but not sure how to since most are curved and flattening them out will break them. Any recommendations?

If these are only for you then you could cut the guts out. I bought a lot a few yrs ago but couldn't bring them on the plane "a bomb" was what TSA said. I can't tell - maybe the insides are gone?

If I had this wonderful collection. I would open them up because the back flap sometimes is interesting too. You can pin them to a cork board...or foam core board. Don't laugh - but another idea is to fix them to a large piece of fabric or old rug or textile you might have in your collection. Hang on your wall!

Might look good in a big shadow box. These are nice!

I bet they would soften with steam - though I don't know if that would damage their integrity / print quality....

Hunter - just putting weight on them....books work! hmm...but this dimensional shape is actually nice. Could stick the pin inside to the shadow box or other foam core, fabric....and not hurt the covers at all.
