I adore this work and for me they still look italian. A bird and a bone flower, a butterfly, the antique roman grotesque face and an elaborate flower. Thanks to all who asked me for more pictures, now I am anxious about your thoughts. 1. Ornamentation (grottesche). In architecture and decorative art, the grotesque is an ornamental style of painting or sculpture involving mixed animal, human, and plant forms.http://www.jahsonic.com/Grotesque.html
