Hi Val! Checking for Israel I have heard for older globes, what other clues to look for? This one has a bar code printed on the bottom, so I assumed not vintage.
LOVE IT....now I'm going to have to dig out my mini-globe pencil sharpener

Wow...you sure got a lot of I have this too, right?! Here's another one, lol. It was actually my brothers when we were kids, but I have it now! The bar code that's on there must be from a resale shop, I would think because there were now bar codes when I was a kid!

You know what...? I had same as a child! But not a bank... Pencil sharpener!

The fact that it has a bar code will tell you a great deal about the age. That bar code may also lead you to more information but it takes bunches of research.
I had one of these around 1958, long before bar codes.
