Does anyone know the maker of this large pitcher? Or when it was made?
It measures about 9.25" tall x 9.50" wide
I know I've had it for a while now, but can't remember where it came from, so I have no way to know much about it.
I don't know where the value would stand, is the design a 'transfer'? And if so, how can I know by looking at a piece?
I also don't know if my wording here is correct, but there is a pontil mark in the middle of the concave bottom.

Term is correct...pontil mark on the blown base.
Looking at the graphic I think it is an enamel transfer print - it doesn't look hand painted to me just because it is so even and fine. However the blue on the rim does look hand done. Is that what it looks like to you?
Hi Karen, thanks and as I continue to look at it, it's just too perfect not to be a transfer...
And I just don't know about the rim, there is no seam there. That's just another reason I am so confused about it. Would that be a normal practice among glass works?
Would you happen to know who made this or where it's from or even the age??? I'm going to really have to do a lot of studying on glassware to get some kind of edu. on it. It's sooo vast, I don't really know where to begin-I think right here is a great place to learn about a whole grip of things tho!
I'll be pulling out and posting more pieces real soon here. I've seen so many beautiful and different examples here that I really never paid attention to until I came aboard here on the CW! Glad I did and lovin' it :)

Sue the blue rim would not normally have a seam for this type of glass. The blue glass has been melted in as part of the moulding, and the handle has been hot attached later.
Normally you would only feel a seam on an incalmo piece (there's anew term for you!) which are technically difficult, expensive and usually for higher end glass.
I know only a little bit about glass but am always learning more. So much to know!
Reading about other people's pieces is one good way to learn. Handling glass is the best!

I'm guessing here based on shape, graphic and where you are that this American and probably post 60s, but who knows who made it? Unfortunately a lot of glass is unsigned, and once stickers are removed it can be hard to ID unless it is a known piece.

This one has left the building too. I'd have kept it but didn't like the way the water poured out. It was more like splashed out!
