    trying to find out what this is, has some #'s on the different pieces that make it up. 138.126, 95.198 on another piece. some sort of lever action as you crank the handle it extends long, slender piece with hook on end. Someone thought maybe it was a tool for opening wire crates. Was in a box with other tools bought from auction. When folded it is almost 9"long and when fully extended almost 15" long. It does not appear to be able to cut something.

      when you say crank the handle do u mean rotate it or move it up and down in sliding action

      Is the hook sharp or blunt. Can mean the diff. between cutting & stretching.

      I believe this is an old wire fence tensioner, perhaps for installing barbed wire.
