I found this at a thrift store we are sure it used to be an oil lamp and was electric converted. Unfortunately the globe wasn't with it. I'd love to see what the original looked like especially the chimney/globe or globe depending on what style the original had.

There are shops that specialize in lamp globes. I just stumbled into 1 about 20 yrs ago in Atlanta while visiting & got globes for all my lamps. Shouldn't be a hard search.

we've found globes that would look "ok" but were hoping to find the original one that goes to it floating around we plan on having it restored back to an oil lamp if we are able to find thee actual matching "shade". Thank you for your quick response though.

All I found were the "OK" globes until that shop & they had scores of diff. shapes & sizes. When you see the right "one", you will know it. Not an easy quest.
