Here is HARPER'S UNITED STATES READERS, THE FIRST READER of the United States Series by Marcius Willson, entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1872, by HARPER & BROTHERS.
This reader was passed down through my mothers estate. It is in good condition, very well aged, and a joy to look through.
I have no idea about the value as it is a family momento.

As a former 1st grade teacher, I'm interested in the print inside this book. In the 50s, I learned to read with Dick, Jane and Spot. Could you add a photo of a page inside the book? Thanks.....

Just holding it im your hand must be an experience__Think of all the tiny hands before you ,brightening their eager minds with the beauty and significance of it. It is akin to a Bible in its own way.
