Found for $5.99 at a thrift shop. Near perfect condition! I love this bag but don't know too much about it. I've seen a similar one for sale on eBay and tried to get more info from that seller as the price seemed to suggest the bag is quite rare. Anyway....here she is!
this bag is pre 1980. More early 1970's....so, in fact, the stamp is correct and silver vs. gold. I've had it authenticated recently but plan to sell it once I have an appraisal done. Wondering who might do an appraisal for me. If you know someone, please advise! :)
Well, it is VERY much a mystery to the exact year and collection, as well as the value of course. The authenticator did not give me a written report - just said she believed it authentic. Without any information on the internet it is hard to compare this bag to a similar or the same bag. Could it be the only one? I thought it quite mysterious.....and wondered if it was rare....that seemed a mystery to me :)) Is it not okay to post my mystery here?
BTW - I of course realize the rules about value/appraisal. Just wondering more about the exact year, collection, etc. I could NOT find the bag anywhere and only found ONE similar bag on eBay....(as I mentioned).
