This appears to be a Yuan period small lidded jar about 4.5 inches tall. I have never seen an example of this ware with a Jade finial--in this case a pale smoky white or pink jade ending in a very sharp point. It does not appear to be a later add on and the means of attachment are a mystery. Has anyone seen such a piece?
