This was brewed in N.J., It may have been a promo Item.. The only info from brewer, was that it was brewed between 1969-1971

My husband and I own the current Cape Cod Beer. This beer is not ours.. it was brewed a while back under contract ..meaning there was never an actual brewery.. they paid someone else to brew it... in NJ I believe. From what we understand this was brewed in the 70s...

this was not the FIRST iteration of Cape Cod Beer.. nor the last... the first was a canned product from years earlier. If you have one of those cans.. they are worth quite some money from collectors. It is a tabless can.. blue and white..the kind that needed to be open with a pointy can opener.

We got a call recently from a widow whose husband had saved dozens of cases... most were unopened.. but unrefrigerated... we chilled down the beer and tasted it.. no good.. ..not that we were surprised.

Not worth anything I would guess.. maybe the fact that you have the 6 pack holder might make it more valuable to someone. we had a bunch.. saved a couple and tossed the rest...

      Cheers
      Beth Marcus
