I used to be a Barber-stylist for about 12 years back in the 1980's. I collected some old straight razors, neck duster, strops, and hand-clippers. Thought I would post this old straight razor. When I when to Barbering School - had to learn *How to do* a Face Shave with a straight Razor.
I added a pic of me working in a old-time Barber shop cutting my Nephew hair. ( Yup that is ME back then !!!! ). It was HIS first hair cut, and Auntie got to cut it!!
STILL have my hair style .....only longer....LOL
Thank God after I Graduated -- I never had to do a Face Shave.......WHEW

I sure remember these and have shaved patients with one ,much to their fear lol . No I am not that old but at VA hospital they had out dated equipment so we shaved with these . Your very pretty in photo :-)
