Found these two great old American tools in Intercourse, PA. The guy who owned the store was Amish. He had some GREAT tools and Amish quilts and clothing. Just stuff that you don't see in other antique stores. He had a table full of block planes, I can't wait to go back because he prices were the best! The chisel above cost me $8.00. Seriously a great deal. He also had an old axe used for cutting mortises. Anyway, this is a drawknife labeled SHELDON and the biggest chisel I have ever seen, there were about 15 more with different points and handles some as cheap as $3.00. Next time I go back I am bringing serious cash. The guy was really nice too.

Nice Finds! Your chisel could be an old "Turn Screw" which was a common screwdriver design back in the day. Any marks on it?

izenenglish, no marks on it. I have to say it doesn't really look and feel like a chisel. the tip is not sharp either. Thanks!
