    Picked this cap up at the D.A.V. thrift shop. The insignia is 3 C's and the date on the tag is May 9. 1941.

      My father worked for them................planted a lot of trees in southern Ohio (Athens area) , he would have been 17 or 18 in 1933...........there wasn't any work to be had.....

      Great hat in FINE condition.

      I am not sure if you were aware, but the CCC was run just like a military organization. In fact, US Army officers were in charge of of the various camps and groups.
