Found today at local antique mall. 10"x 9" x 3" thick at top. Signed in pencil on back. #181 Godfrey Hunt. Has old paper price tag of 75.00. I did some research and Godfrey is a member of the Kwakuitl tribe. Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.
I have seen this at a friends house,and he said he was told it was from africa from one man and from haiti from another man so take your pick.Go to african mask and see if its there african wood mask,or haitian wood mask.either one you shoud find out..Wish I knew more for you.
