So whats your opinion on the blade
I can't tell you about the blade, but the mounts are typical of WWII swords. Much older blades sometimes appear with WWII mounts, so I wouldn't count the whole thing as WWII era. Even if it is that era, there were still blades from master sword smiths from that era that are pricey. That there are no factory stamps on the blade is a good thing. Do you see any marks carved into the tang? It there are, I would make a rubbing if the marks if they are too light to photograph. There are specialists out there that can decipher them.
I took a negative pic of the tang and can slightly see some traces of signing i will post it and if you zoom in you can see what im notim talking about

bbmbr2000, looks like your tang and blade had rust damage so its hard to tell, I did research on mine years ago and found a web sight that told me the signature on mine was made in a sword factory around WWII.
