This box I got after grandfather. I miss the key and hope to find it. This is so "retrowonderful" I think. Believe it´s made of vulcanized fibre.
Any ideas on when this was made?

Sorry about the photos, don´t know why it´s not working.

This is a great retro piece. I'm guessing 1940's or 1950's.

I would say 30's to 40's as well, I doubt that it is vulcanized fiber... too nice for that. Lovely little box..

Here is a wonderful website that has the history of this type of vintage luggage manufacturers. My thoughts lean more towards the 40's and 50's as this would be a wonderful light weight piece to travel with on a plane. A Great little retro box.

CW changed category to bags ans, suitcases. That doesn't feel right with the shape and size of it. It's more of a box to store things in. To me it's still a little box-trunk :).

      Thanks pops52 for love!
