Here is a stylish Art Deco doorstop manufactured by the Chase Brass and Copper Company, circa 1930's. This modernist cat doorstop made out of polished copper and brass was designed by famed industrial designer, Walter Von Nessen for the company. Apparently, he designed this doorstop and other items for Chase by repurposing plumbing fixtures that the company also manufactured. It's classic Machine Age design. He also designed similar cat bookends for Chase.
