porcelain kittens display piece

hello fellow collectors here is another piece my mother rescued from the thrift store.it appears to be porcelain? its a display piece of some kittens playing with a ball of yarn.on the bottom it is hallmarked 1950's but not sure of exact year.i was hoping for some help with this piece.thank you
