Signed: Not signed and it's a bit strange
Color: Violet / clear
Height: about 15.0 cm.
Diameter: about 13.5 cm.
Winged vase with three scallops on top, blown in violet glass with clear overlay. Plan Ground floor.
THE STORY:
This glass has a very special story: The elderly lady who I bought it from said that it had been her mother's and her mother had gotten it from Karen Blixen at her 10 year anniversary in 1959. Her mother was Karen Blixen's cook and housekeeper for many years: Mrs. Caroline Carlsen. "Madam Carlsen" 'got the job as a housekeeper at Rungstedlund in 1949 and died in the spring of 2003, and was the last occupant of Rungstedlund
