hi, my last purchase i suppose by DESIRE CHRISTIAN, in case it is signed vallerysthal, and the look is very close to his production. this model is not referenced it the catalogue raisonné of desiré christian... like many other pieces in case that the manufacture have not the period documentation.... and it is hard to be sure of the origin....

the look is also quite similar to gallé work, as christian was working whith him in meisenthal in there early years and later....
the vase is produced bewteen 1890-1898.

kyra it is signed "varrelystahl" so it is is probably a desiré christian model, but as i've read in my book od desiré christian catalogue raisonné, gallé for polic and business reasons moved to nancy.... but where still working with both meisenthal and desiré christian, who had his own decorating studio in vallarysthal. my thinking is that the glass was furnished by meisenthalor vallerysthal for gallé, and desiré christian decorated the models.... some where exported to france ans signed gallé, some other vallerysthal... or meisenthal.
