    This is a New York City Transit Authority Token - used from 1953 to 1970
    Obverse: New York City Transit Authority / Reverse: Good for One Fare
    Diameter: 23mm -- Composition: Solid brass with cut-out "Y" in center
    ** Since first being used in New York City in 1953, there were five different type issues of transit tokens. They were good for one fare on any New York
    - - - - - - - - - - - - City transit mode including bus, subway, and Roosevelt Island tram.
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - This is type 2 (1970-1980) - Very Fine condition
