    Its a metal with glass light up sign. I have no information about this piece besides the black paint is crackling and coming off but everything else is fine with it. Im not sure if its better to just leave it be, or flake the paint off. Any information is greatly appreciated.

      Very nice piece! I believe you have what's called a cash register light. These would have been displayed on the bar back or attached to the top of an old cash register. What does the rest of the light look like? Is there any markings or tags stuck to the back or bottom of the light housing?

      The rest of the sign is just black metal.
