    Would like to get additional info. Assume at least 1950's or earlier. Only info on back a code 717 and China. China not country but type of furniture. Has been in family since at least 1950's. But assume an earlier piece.

      Thank u, I think it probably was from one of my grandparent's home., which matches up with your thought of 1920-40. I hope I am not making a mistake. But, having it refinished, will be wine and liquor cabinet with light inside. Outside will remain same. Will post again once refinished.

      Interesting piece. Does not look like a traditional china cabinet. But it can be a whatever you want to put in it cabinet.
      I wouldn't refinish it. Try Restor-A-Finish of the proper color to fill in the scratches. Original finish is good. Removing the original finish and replacing it with another not so much.
