    This is a Corningware Casserole in the "Spice O' Life" pattern, sometimes referred to as "French Spice". - This pattern was made from 1972-1987.
    The pattern is the same on both sides and below it reads "L'Echalote", (French for The Shallot), a spring onion or green onion for cooking flavor.
    Product # A-1-B / measures 7" across / 1 qt. capacity / glass lid broke

      I grew up with these in the 70's - I remember we also had the teapot kettle and the canister set (canisters were pyrex glass, the screw-on lids were white with the pattern). I have to get some replacement glass lids for the casseroles, I broke them all over the years.

      My Mother had this very Corningware set!! I believe she still has it today.

      still have mine with lid...was wedding gift 1974

      Still have the whole set with lids. Use them all the time. Use to have the coffee pot, but they had a recall & never replaced them............
