The first photo is of a McCoy mixing bowl, belonged to my mom, you can see it was well loved and used. The second photo, a newer McCoy mixing bowl I got at a yard sale maybe a year ago for a dollar or two. It's in beautiful condition. And yet I'd sell that one in a minute and keep the old one with me forever. Some things are invaluable.

PatSea, thank you, they were good. Four dozen yesterday afternoon, down to five this morning. Yes, I love the old bowl because it shows age and use. I can imagine all the things that were prepared in that bowl, in good times and bad. A piece of family history.
