This unique golf club, a serial numbered 'Prototype' was made by Ping Golf (Circa 90') and represents the change in manufacturing methods using metal composite materials instead of wooden laminates. This design is taken from the very popular Zing woods that were produced over many years and is constructed from Titanium. The sleek sharpe curves are retained in the visual cosmetics. The subsequent production models were renamed as; 'Ping Zing 2' and feature a different sole stamp design. This club is furnished with a graphite shaft (201/Stiff flex) made by Aldila and Ping Dyla-grip which are all original. Altogether this is a very rare, and interesting collectable club.
