Found this very pretty unusual handled nappy? I'm not sure but I liked it. I found it in excellent condition at an estate sale here in Sun City, Arizona. Lots of great things, but I didn't have alot of money that day. Anyone know the name of the pattern?

Imperial's No. 282 was actually made before their Nucut line was introduced c. 1911. Most sources date No. 282 to 1909, but I first spot the pattern in an October 1908 Butler Brothers catalog. Some items from Imperial's earlier lines were included in the Nucut line-up, but I do not recall seeing any No. 282 items shown in any original Imperial catalogs specifically labeled Nucut. Memory is usually pretty good, but I could be wrong. LaLady's particular item is designated a spoon tray in Imperial's company catalogs, and I know it definitely wasn't part of the Nucut line.
Serendipity--was just looking through a Spring 1905 Butler Brothers catalog for something else for a friend and spotted Imperial's No. 282 pattern in an assortment, so it goes back at least to Spring 1905. There are indications it was a new pattern for the spring market that year.
I do have an IG catalog with #282 included in the NUCUT line.
I just found the identical piece on ebay that sold for 20.00. Interesting.
