I really don't know much about this recent thrift shop find. It has an old antique shop tag on it that states, $45/50's art glass. I picked it up for 12.99+tax. It's the one piece I have that people seem to single out of my collection and give it that wow approval. It has an opalescent gleam to it. Any maker info would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a Quality piece, IMHO. Have not seen this design -- but I am leaning towards Murano Art Glass (made on the island of Murano, Italy )...and Yes, could be older piece as someone had written on the bottom.
See what others have to say for maker....
Very Good price for $ 12.99. I would have grabbed it too.
Thanks for the info. I like the sounds of it being an Italian Murano, and finding/seeing a similar item could likely confirm that. But as well,, I've hav'nt spotted anything similarly close to this design. What is IMHO btw. Thank-you.
