This is a re-post of one of the photos I posted yesterday http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/153968-old-photographs
This photo has always been one of my favorites because I think that my dad looks so happy in it. My dad was a very hard-working and kind person but he wasn’t perfect. Well, I don’t think anybody is.

Unfortunately, my dad died almost 20 years ago, just as he was starting his well-deserved retirement.

Phil, I want to thank you so much for restoring it. It means a lot to me!
I will have the photo printed and put it in a frame.

    Thanks for looking:)

Phil has always helped to restore our old photo's and it takes a great deal of time . Out of the kindness of his heart he did this. To bad a few bad apples had to attack his posts !! Now all his spectacular collections are gone :-(

Manikin, I am speechless. I really don't know what is going on here. I have seen some of the goodbye posts but I don't know what this is all about. After reading your e-mail, I checked Phil's posts and they are gone! I am saddened by that because his posts are spectacular and he seems to be a very resilient, creative, entrepreneurial, knowledgeable, and most of all kind and respectful person. It saddens me when people are mean to one another, especially when there is no gain. To the best of my understanding, this site is not a professional site for experts competing for the “Nobel Prize” of collectors (if there was such a thing) so there is nothing to prove or to fight over!
I have always admired collectors with more knowledge than I have and appreciated the help anyone has offered, even when sometimes the comments were not quite correct, as I have found out later. I have made comments, too, that, in the aftermath, didn’t come out the correct way either because I rushed or I didn’t phrase it properly because English is not my native language. But most of all have I been impressed by the constructive and helpful comments and the general positivity and respectfulness of the members. I truly hope that this will not change and the ones I have got to know and admired over the past years (including Phil) will join again and enlighten and entertain (that too) us again here.

Someone or some people questioned Phil's posts and some removed by site and rest he removed . He owns all his posted items and did not deserve being hassled . xoxo

I cannot believe that! Sorry to hear it. I really don't like problems; I don't look for them but if someone gets me angry because I was treated unfaily, I usually fight hard. I wish I could help:)
      I really appreciate your information.

I like to stay clear of problems also but when long time member who has shared so much gets this kind of treatment I guess anyone of us can be a target to the TROLLS who have no life apparently they have time to look up and research others posts to see if they own item .

What -- I have not been really on much the last couple days with Easter. All of Phils pics are gone?? Really? Phil worked hard and long.....and out of everyone here on CW, I am the lucky one -- as years ago Phil and Me crossed paths. ""I have personally seen his collections."" He is truthful and is a High ranking photographer. As I know this personally!!

These TROLLS sure have caused a lot of damage here on CW with false allegations. They ( the trolls ) said the same thing about my 4 foot coke sign, that is was not my image and I took it off Ebay, and posted it here. LOL.....

It is my photo, and my car it is against -- and I have the paperwork for my car there.....so Screw those trolls and their lies......so I laughed it off.

.....and forgot to add to the above -- HAPPY EASTER Mani !!

Yep Rose it is sad people have to be this way as a whole many good people on CW but a few bad apples can cause enough problems as a bushel of them .
