I purchased this Loetz Diaspora vase a while back. When it arrived, I was disappointed after seeing it in person and tried to sell it. I ended up changing my mind and decided to keep it. I've since grown to love it and it's incredible iridescence -which is exactly what I didn't like about it at the beginning. It's a nice size, measuring 7" h x 6" w, has 6 dimples on the sides and 5 pinched lobes on the rim. There's a remnant of a label on the base -which I don't believe is original to the piece -but I decided to keep it there just in case. Thanks for looking.

Lovely vase Rick and I really sympathise with your reaction to it.
I have a number of pieces that I unwrapped and thought "what? why did I?" .
Some are now favorites, some still need more time lol!

Thank you so much for the comment and love Karen. I bought this when I first started collecting Loetz and thought a Diaspora should have more of a satin finish. Being that I had never seen one with iridescence, I thought that was an undesirable finish. I've since learned otherwise and wouldn't part with it. Also, thanks for the love Surfdub.

Seems to just glow ! Very pretty indeed Rick. It wouldn't take long to win me over either and I'm not a fan of yellow/gold colors. More of a red, blue, purple, person :)

Thank you so much Mike. I'm sure if we look hard enough we can find your red, blue and purple in there lol. Also, thank you for the love Lisa, Anne and Mike, your comments and loves are appreciated.

Great piece Rick. At least you changed your mind before you sold it.....I tend to not love the pieces like that til they are already gone :)

Isn't it true Yesterday. I've sold a few pieces that I later regretted getting rid of. At least I caught this one in time. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for the love Manikin.
