    Hi it's carved out of shell I think the back is brass the decoration looks like gold but unsure as it's not stamped thank you in advance for any information diolch

      Hi there -- You can go to a Jewelery store and have them test it -- Just in case. I have a Cameo that I had tested (unmarked ) and it is Gold !
