According to many eBay sellers this is mid-century modern so that must be true. I can't find any solid info on this set so I will just go with that. Anyway it is a 5 piece set with a poker, broom, shovel, log grabber and stand. I tried to line up the heads as I wanted my ducks in a row.
I use my stove a lot thus there is a lot of ash

If the tools are original to the base and it looks like they may be...personally I would say they were more likely to be late Victorian...I have a set that is more ornate than these but! the base is very similar...I do would yours though!!...:-)

Thank you very much inky. The middle duck head is attached to the stand. Would be cool if they are older.

Wow there massive, I've never seen a set as tall as these. Could they be older, most fires that I know of were not big enough for these, just a thought. The Ducks are lovely.

I would guess 1970's made in India or Pakistan

Limited definition on the heads, handle to stem attachment and limited ornamentation to the stand-- all indicators of a modern set. NOT mid century modern in my opinion.

The underside of the stand may have some markings to confirm.

Quick comment on "ebay identifications": many times I see something antique or vintage sell for big money. Next, you will find many SIMILAR pieces offered with the same identification and description, when in fact they are later/ lower quality pieces.

SIMILAR is not the SAME. Take ebay descriptions/ IDs with a grain of salt.

Yaneverknow turns out they are made in Taiwan.

Sorry Scott that was a bit of sarcasm on my part. I know the ebay sellers follow the herd. They describe every vintage fan as "industrial" which very few of them are.
I did turn it over and Made in Taiwan plus philip head screws. I still like them but will keep an eye out for a proper vintage set.

Hi fortapache I got it completely wrong, lol, I still like very much regarding of them being made in Taiwan. I think Scott is very correct in what says.

It is all good Peasejean. It is a given that Scott is correct, I should have thought to look underneath on my own. My mom bought these for me so they are here to stay.

I am very happy with my new fireplace, Gerard and Corrine helped with choosing the right model. We went through number of different places to get estimate and The Fireplace Element was the most reasonable. It took us awhile to figure out what we really want and need and they were very supportive, provided quotes for all our requests right away. When the fireplace unit was ordered, they scheduled the installation and came over on time. It took them two days instead of estimated one to do the installation, but they kept it on budget anyway, I find them very reliable and reasonable https://www.ethanolfireplacepros.com/
