My first collection, paperweights.

I know the pictures are bad but you get a general idea of what started my addiction. It has been about 20 years since I found my first paperweight. WOW looking at that in black in white is not the best feeling, never fun to realize how fast time can move. Oh well anyways, started with paperweights then branched out to art glass. I had always worn vintage clothes and jewelry as a teen but only started to study and respect the historical side after high school when I was given all my grandma's "old junk" her words not mine. Wow I am jumping all over the place sorry! Paperweights, a fun collection although I have moved on I still look for them. They are becoming harder to find at least good ones. I run across new made in china all the time,once in a while a nice new one comes around but I generally pass them up. pictures are of about half of my collection but its the nicer half.
