I purchased this lamp a while back and have been able to find NOTHING about its history, age, or value. The lamp has a cast iron square base with what appears to be an indian princess holding a bow in her left hand and reaching for an arrow with her right. The bowl is cut glass. The lamp is stamped Venus on the wick knob and has no other markings anywhere on the lamp. Anyone with information about this lamp please email me at ldmonthey@yahoo.com

Your figural lamp was in the BRADLEY & HUBBARD MFG. CO. of Meriden CONN. catalog of 1883-1884 and was not given a name but was numbered #6100B. They came with the opportunity of choosing the Font (oil receptacle) and a different base to go with the Spelter (white metal) figure. She looks like an archer to me (she is actually holding a bow). I like these B&H lamps and the catalogues show hundreds of different themes and figures. RER(BOB)
