This middling size vase (20cm x 20cm) is from Japan and I have no doubt it's Japanese made. For me, the shape is the first indicator, followed by the base and rim finish, followed by the fact it's been sandblasted.
I would put this vase as a being made in the last 20 years or so but admittedly that's a guess.
The thing I do know is I don't know who made it!
Made it pretty well though I think.
