Hello Danni-m, you have a natural gas heater from the late 1800s early 1900s . These were used in different rooms of homes for heat. I use the later 40s and early 50s in my home. excellent heat source and use no electricity. Very economical. For a cosmetic restoration, a good cleaning and paint. The door at the bottom with the red and green panels illuminated when the burner was lit. Some people put lights in there. For an in depth working mechanical restoration email js1957@centurylink.net
