I thought this was such a pretty color I could not pass up spending $2 on it :) There are no markings on it, but it is such a deep purple color it almost looks black. It has a few character bubbles in it & weighs just over 2 lbs
Can anyone add any info?

I love these tornado weights (my name for them).
That matte base says it's probably Chinese glass. Still takes skill though.

Generally a good indicator Joy. Not necessarily a really recent make - the Chinese have made paperweights over a hundred years.
