    I found this in a house that we were cleaning out and can not think of what it could be used for other than a pen/pencil holder? Very heavy clear crystal dish with lid full of holes. No markings to be found. It measures approx 3" x 6"

      The lid would be commonly referred to as a "flower frog"

      yep, the top insert is commonly known as a flower 'frog' and also flower arranger in some catalogs. This set is Viking Glass #1048 Oval Flowerlite
