Marty aka OZMARTY came up to the Collectors' Fair at Wenty last Sunday with a gift for me. He knows I like Australian Studio Glass and he brought something from his area of the country.
"Peter Minson Art Glass is a personal studio in Binalong, a small village 95 kilometres north west of Canberra. Here, Peter continues his work and teaches glass art to those who want to experience the magic of his everyday work. He has followed a path, from scientific glass blowing through to functional art glass, and is being continually seduced by the properties of glass."
This piece is signed and dated 82.

Minson is a third generation glass blower and has been working as a glass artist for over forty years.

I wish the love button would let me hit it again. I tried just in case I forgot last time. The clarity of the glass makes such a nice base for the floating ribbons.
Now Kevin your not weird but sometimes it takes a strange expression to say what we are thinking as long as it's worked out it's not weird at all. Are you wet down there it looks as if it'll keep up for at least another week here from what they are saying if that's the case then it will be the most we have had since I have been here. We need it to keep the beauty going

She had a fall ... Bruised but OK. The house is sold and she's getting ready to move out in a couple of months. Wet here this morning. But it will fine up for sure. Hope you're well.
I thought she may have already moved in to were she was moving. Sorry about the fall but I'm glad it wasn't to bad. Things are a bit ruff at the moment I have a heart op coming up very soon & not looking forward to it at all they told me about 12mths two days later they rang & guess what the gave me 2 weeks instead so having a problem getting my head around it. If they go a certain way I'm going to have to lye awake for 7 hours why the squeeze the living day lights out of my heart & must be still as I'm allergic to the serum they usually use. But thinking of talking to the specialist to see how much risk it would be if we went that way instead as he wasn't real happy about it either I might take my chances. So here's hoping all goes well
Important decisions .... but certain things just must be confronted and put behind you. It will all go well.
