    I'm not sure what this is,if anyone has an idea I appreciate hearing it,it reminds me somewhat of an alcohol lantern.

      Looks a lot like a tool we used to use to start 'back fires' When clearing land it would be filled with fuel and a flame would be llit on the curved nozzel, then when it was tipped to the horizontal fuel would drip out on fire and light the grass in a controlled manner...
