Amber Glass Bottle With Silver Overlay Floral Design /Unknown Maker and Age / Circa 20th Cemtury

When I first saw this at Savers my heart skipped a beat. I really thought it would fit in my WMF pewter mount I posted a few months back. It's missing the forest green glass decanter. Sadly this is too small in diameter at the base and too short as well even at 11 inches. I've had it for a while but my disappointment made me put it on the shelf and forget about it until today. It has a nice silver overlay design that is in excellent condition. No loss I can see but it is tarnished. I tried to very gently polish it with my jeweler's cloth but it wasn't working too well. The top started to come back a bit but the rest of the design I was afraid of damaging so I let it be. It looks like it might have been a decanter and possibly a set with glasses. No marks or labels. The bottom is fairly smooth with a bit of a depression in the center. I would guess blown glass but I have no clue as to a maker or age. -Mike-
