Hi, I have had this bracelet since I was 12 and am now in my 50s. It was my piano teacher's when she was a child. At the time she gave it to me she was in her 80's which was 44 years ago. Any idea what it is made of, age and how common it is? Thanks!

Are they "The 3 Little Pigs"? ( or cats, I don't see well) I'd guess 1920-30s?

I would say celluloid & yes if they are pigs it would be based on the Three Little Pigs as PostCardCollector said it's cute by the way & great you have history on it

I was thinking very early plastic of some sort. (Bakelite) Wouldn't celluloid be all messed up by now?

What's that early plastic that's milk-based? Galalith? Could this be that?

Thanks everyone for your comments. Don't know about Bakelite or Galalith materials. Were they being made in the late 1800's?
