Who wouldn't rescue this cool industrial age design mid century oscillating fan from the dumps scrap metal pile if they saw it just laying there helpless. It really wasn't so helpless after all, the cord is in great shape and it runs perfectly. It was originally a heater fan but someone had removed the heating coil that was positioned in front of the fan propeller. I'd like to say something witty about it but it speaks for itself. Wittie Model OH-1000 Chicago Ill.

I was surprised that I could not find another example on the web anywhere. Apparently they used the same model number and base for a non ducted fan. That's the only one I could find pictures of.
