    This small, 8.5Cm long nesting chicken is quite attractive. It has nice coloring, and great detail. The chicken is the lid on this item.

    There is no manufacturer's mark, but is a remarkable item, nevertheless!

      Pretty cool. Took a look around. It looks a lot like the early Indiana Glass Hens. Those have a beaded rim on the dish. The head and tail on yours looks alot like the early ones. It's possible they put this smaller one out, sans beaded rim. Hopefully someone will recognize it and set the record straight. Love it.

      This is a hen on nest. I know hazel atlas made this size in the early 1930s.

      There is an identical one right now on eBay (I typed in "Amber Nesting Hen"), but unfortunately the seller didn't know the maker, either. Good luck!
