An EBay buy, sold for carved wood figurine....
You can see a trace of seam on the side, details are messy, and material give a "soft" feeling even from the pics! Of course, no caracteristic ivory lines...
The famous RHPP (red hot pin poke) test, applied near the lower hole, gave the expected result:
Chemical smelling and melting :-D
It is not new, but vintage.
