This little brooch came from Salvation Army. I didn't think much of the painted cameo but I was surprised it was glass and marked "Czecho Slovakia" on the back. I figured it must be fairly old judging by the simple clasp. The same cameo shows up online with different colors and backgrounds but not painted like this one. Maybe a budding artist customized it at some point. -Mike-

Good Morning Mike, coffee is on and day has started , grab a cup and a pastry and tell me what you're doing this time of the day :-)
Morning Kerry :)....up with the troops (two cats and a dog) who think 3-4 AM is a perfectly reasonable time to be awake. Always been an early riser but sometimes it would be nice to sleep in late... say 5 AM...lol. So I make the best of it. Grab my coffee and check in here to see whats new. I sometimes talk with Karen (racer4four) since it's early evening on the other side of the world. Funny how everything is the exact opposite of here in the U.S. Day - Night....Winter-Summer.
Understand that, I saw Karen has jumped in on a few already, well still in her case, as almost bed time for her. Hope the troops are content now they have company :-)
Oh yes, now it's quite time and they go back to sleep....you never need an alarm clock when you roll over and have a cat staring you in the face. :)
LMAO....know completely that, our cat does the in your face across your chest thingy when he thinks you need to be up and about. Hasn't worked out that way lately, I'm up before that now, the meds they put me on wear off in about 3-4hours and I'm up looking to find them before he's up, so later along, he'll show up and do the body rub on leg until I show him some attention
