Another item that I do not have a clue about. I am calling it a brass vase because I do not know what to call it!! I am not even sure where I got this one from. At one point I was collecting brass pieces. There is a marking on the bottom which I cannot really make out. I was just wondering if it was old and what it was actually used for. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks again!

Thanks for information SEAN68 - much appreciated! Also, thanks for the love :) What do you think it would be classified as! - a vase? It's only about 9 inches tall.

This is a Russian hand-wrought brass pitcher, dating to Tsarist, pre-revolutionary Russia - pre 1918. The mark shows the Russian royal eagle, and you can often read in Cyrillic where it was made at (for example, Tula, Moscow, etc.) but the mark on your pitcher is quite hard to read. I have quite a collection of pre-revolutionary Russian brass items; the quality of the metalwork is very high, and the metal working methods used are very distinctive.
      Items - they were masters

Thank you Michelleb007! I never thought I would have so much knowledge given to me on the vase. It is truly appreciated. The stamp on the bottom is worn - however I can make out wings. I believe it probably is the royal eagle, but worn. Thanks so much for you help and your love! :)
