    I have no clue to what this is. I collecting old tools but this one has stumped me.
    It's 11 1/2"
    When you turn the handle the shaft turns one full turn then back 3/4 turn and repeats. The person I got it from thought it went to an old vehicle.

      This is an engine valve lap tool. It's missing a rubber suction cup on the end of the shaft that holds the valve. Abrasive Lapping compound is placed between the valve and valve seat and the tool laps the two surfaces together for a better seal. Rogerww
