Very Early 1900's Elixir Glass Bottle

Elixirs were sold early on by so called "Snake Oil Salesmen". An elixir could be made from just about anything. Most of the ones that claimed to cure all aches contained opium or cocaine. This was probably an ordinary bottle one would get from a prescription at a local drug store around 1910 or so. Not sure what this one had in it but I found it on a lot we were clearing to build a mansion on the river for a CSX railroad exec. I found numerous piles of brick (maybe 25-30 piles the size of an average pick up truck bed) that looked to have been dumped there maybe 90-100 years before. Around the turn of the century they were tearing up some of the older brick paved streets of Jacksonville and I assume that's where the bricks came from. I found this bottle, a very old ceramic clay beer bottle and a few other old items that were in very poor shape in and around these piles of brick. This are was rural and remote and may have at one time been a dump in general. No telling what all could have been found had the time been available to dig further but unfortunately we had a big house to build. I have what I wouldn't call an extensive bottle collection but I have a few. Just going to post this one and maybe one other Listerine bottle from early in that mouthwash company's beginning.
