I picked up an old montgomery ward (Danelectro) guitar amp at an estate sale.I have so far been unable to find another one online despite hours of research so I am looking to you for help. The model # is 4822s. Cosmetically it looks like the sherwood model 4822 except the electronics are completely different. The speaker is made by Utah and has a date code of 1953. The pots are also dated 1953. The tube configuration is 5y3 12sj7 6l6 6l6 6sn7 6j5. The amp does fire up and work and appears to be all original. I am hesitant to make any changes to the amp like changing to a safer 3 prong power cord until I have figured out what I have. Anyone see this amp before? Thanx in advance for your help.
